Songs created while on a paid plan (Pro or Premier) are granted commercial-use rights, allowing distribution to streaming platforms, use in film/TV/games, independent sales, and monetization. Free-plan songs are personal and non-commercial only.

Custom Models allow Pro and Premier subscribers to fine-tune a personalized variant of v5.5 by uploading their own original tracks. The resulting model reflects the user's style, arrangement habits, and sonic palette, producing outputs that sound more like their own catalog.

Custom mode lets users supply their own lyrics, specify a detailed style-of-music prompt, and set a song title before generation. Users retain ownership of any original lyrics they input.

Suno offers native mobile apps for iOS and Android that provide core song creation, library management, and discovery features on mobile devices. Account libraries sync across mobile and web.

Suno's Remix workflow lets users transform, continue, or restructure an existing song. Cover re-styles the music into a different genre while retaining musical identity; Extend continues a song from a chosen timestamp; Crop and Replace Section allow surgical edits. Remixes require the original creator to have enabled remixing.

Stem Extraction isolates individual parts of a Suno-generated (or uploaded) song into separate downloadable tracks. Two options are available: a 2-stem Vocals+Instrumental split, or a 12-stem option that isolates each musical component individually.

Suno Studio is a web-based Generative Audio Workstation (GAW) that combines traditional DAW multitrack editing with AI-powered stem generation. Users can layer AI-generated stems, record live audio, edit arrangements, adjust tempo and pitch, and export full multitrack projects.

Suno generates a complete song — vocals, melody, instrumentation, and auto-written lyrics — from a single natural-language text prompt. The output includes full song structure (verse, chorus) and is produced in minutes with no audio equipment required.

Voices lets users capture their own singing voice and use it as the vocalist in Suno-generated songs. The feature replaced the earlier Personas functionality in v5.5 (launched March 2026). Each user's voices are private and can only be used by the voice owner.
