For Claude → Copilot: Copilot Chat automatically grounds in M365 data — start conversations at Microsoft365.com/copilot and ask questions referencing organizational content.
Gotchas
- Warning: Copilot auto-grounds in live M365 data across the tenant; Claude Projects require manually uploading documents as static knowledge files.
- Warning: Claude Projects allow explicit custom instructions shaping all responses; Copilot Chat has no user-set instructions — personalization comes only from Graph data.
- Warning: Claude Pro ($20/month) is cheaper than Microsoft 365 Copilot ($30/user/month + M365 subscription), but Claude lacks native organizational data integration.
