Playground capabilities

After a generation, users can carry the result into a full design editor to refine it rather than exporting to a separate tool. Editing capabilities are presented on the site as 'Tools that work like magic' and include Swap style, Remove object, Add to mockup, Smart layers, and Face style; upscaling and background removal are also offered. This keeps the design workflow inside Playground.

Finished designs can be downloaded as high-resolution PNG files, with editing up to 2K (Pro) or 4K (Pro Plus) resolution. Commercial usage is tied to the plan: paid plans grant a worldwide, royalty-free license to use generated work commercially, while the Free tier does not include a commercial license.

Beyond raw image generation, Playground is positioned as a design studio with a large template library spanning 24+ design categories, including logos and branding, social media graphics, t-shirts and apparel, posters and wall art, stickers and merchandise, cards and invitations, mobile wallpapers, e-book covers, seamless patterns, and memes. Templates are meant to be customized rather than copied.

Playground turns a natural-language prompt into images using several top third-party image models that can be run side by side: GPT Image 2 (OpenAI), Nano Banana and Nano Banana Pro (Google Gemini), and Seedream. GPT Image 2 is positioned for sharp typography and prompt adherence (posters, packaging, ads); Nano Banana Pro for high-fidelity 4K photorealism; Seedream for image consistency and aesthetics.

Playground offers a Free tier, two recurring paid plans (Pro and Pro Plus), and a one-off Day Pass (24-hour access). Plans are differentiated by a per-3-hours image cap, a monthly allowance of model credits used across the premium image models, edit/upscale resolution, commercial licensing, premium template access, and API access. Annual billing is discounted 20% off the month-to-month rate.
