Recraft capabilities

Recraft lets users define a reusable visual style and apply it consistently across generations to keep output on-brand. A style can be created from the user's own reference images or by combining presets from Recraft's style library, then saved, reused, and shared with a team.

Recraft offers native plugins and browser integrations so users can generate and edit Recraft images and vectors inside the tools they already work in, without switching to Recraft Studio. All plugins connect to the user's Recraft account and draw from the same credits and plan.

Recraft exposes a unified REST API for programmatic generation of raster images and scalable vector (SVG) output, plus a full suite of editing operations, intended for automating and scaling production-ready asset creation rather than raster generation alone.

Recraft uses a credit-based subscription model. A Free tier resets a daily credit allowance (30 credits/day), while paid plans renew a monthly credit pool and unlock private generation and full commercial ownership of output. Plans span an individual Basic tier, several Pro credit tiers, and Teams tiers.

Recraft generates true editable vector graphics directly from a text prompt, producing real SVG files with clean paths, organized layers, strokes, and fills rather than rasterized images — its signature differentiator for logos, icons, and illustrations. Recraft positions itself as the AI generator that outputs genuinely editable vectors.

Recraft generates raster images from text prompts using its proprietary models inside Recraft Studio, with a stated focus on prompt accuracy, design-quality output, and accurate in-image typography and element placement. The current flagship model is Recraft V4.1 ('Beautiful by nature').
