In ChatGPT, open Settings > Personalization and copy the text from both the "About me" / "What would you like ChatGPT to know about you" field and the "How should ChatGPT respond" field. In Perplexity, go to Settings > Profile (perplexity.ai/account) and paste that text into the free-text "About me" box, then set your preferred language, location, and tone/formatting preferences. These apply globally to every non-Incognito thread, just like ChatGPT custom instructions. This is available on the free plan. Keep it concise and analytical per your stated preferences.
