Migrate from freepik to leonardo-ai.
1 documentation-derived translation pattern — what carries over and what to watch for. Cited to the Feature Parity Map; the audit tells you whether the move is worth it.
Replace Freepik's multi-model generator with Leonardo.Ai text-to-image. Recreate prompts as new generations on a Leonardo model: pick Phoenix for a general-purpose default, or select Leonardo's FLUX / Ideogram integration to keep using a model you already relied on inside Freepik. Map Freepik aspect-ratio presets to Leonardo's dimensions, set batch size, and use Leonardo's prompt-enhance instead of Freepik style presets. Move recurring or bulk jobs to Leonardo's Production API (separately purchased API credits) so a workflow that called Freepik's /v1/ai/text-to-image becomes a Leonardo generation job.
- Warning: Mystic, Freepik's signature realism model, has no exact Leonardo equivalent — Phoenix or a FLUX variant approximates the look but will not reproduce identical outputs.
- Warning: Freepik bundles a stock-asset library with the subscription; Leonardo.Ai is generation-only, so any reliance on Freepik stock downloads must be sourced elsewhere.
- Warning: Leonardo meters web generations in daily/monthly tokens and bills API separately in non-expiring credits, versus Freepik's pooled monthly credits — budget the two systems differently.
