Migrate from gamma to plus-ai.
1 documentation-derived translation pattern — what carries over and what to watch for. Cited to the Feature Parity Map; the audit tells you whether the move is worth it.
Plus AI's prompt-to-deck and document-to-deck generation maps directly onto Gamma's AI generation. To consolidate into Gamma, recreate Plus AI prompt generations as Gamma 'Generate' mode (topic in, structured draft out), and recreate Plus AI's most-used document-upload flow (PDF/.docx/.txt to slides) as Gamma's 'Import' mode, which converts uploaded PowerPoint, .docx, PDF, and Google Slides/Docs into a gamma. Pasted unformatted text moves to Gamma 'Paste' mode. Rebuild any reused Plus AI branded template as a Gamma theme so brand styling is applied at generation time. Because both tools accept a source document, teams can keep the same 'turn this doc into a deck' habit, just inside Gamma.
- Warning: Output format diverges: Plus AI produces native Google Slides / PowerPoint files that live in your existing deck tooling, while Gamma produces decks in its own card-based editor and only emits PowerPoint/PDF/PNG via an explicit export step — so the deliverable is a Gamma doc, not an editable .pptx in your Drive, unless you export each time.
- Warning: Both meter AI by credits but the economics differ: Plus AI charges per plan (e.g. Basic 1,500 / Pro 3,000 credits per month) while Gamma 'create with AI' costs 40 credits per gamma against a separate Gamma allowance — usage limits are not equivalent and must be re-estimated.
- Warning: Plus AI edits slides in place inside Google Slides/PowerPoint (Rewrite/Remix on the actual slide objects); in Gamma you refine inside Gamma's editor, so reviewers who expect to comment in Google Slides have to move to Gamma's collaboration surface.
